Your journal stays on your device
Pottery Shelf stores your pottery records, photos and creation history locally. No account is required. We do not operate advertising, analytics, tracking or a server receiving your journal. The app works offline; the App Store and links require a connection.
Photos and camera
Camera access is used only when you choose Take photo. The photo picker lets you select photos for a piece. Selected photos are copied into the app so they remain available with your record. The app does not upload them. You can remove photos or delete pieces in the editor. Permissions can be changed in iPhone Settings.
Purchases
Apple processes the optional, non-consumable Unlimited Pieces purchase. The app checks StoreKit entitlement information and stores a verified unlock locally for offline use. We do not receive payment-card details. Apple retains purchase records under its own policies. Restore Purchases restores the unlock, not journal data.
Backups, sharing and deletion
Exporting a PDF or complete backup shares only the records you choose with the destination you select. Files you export remain there until you delete them. Device or iCloud backups may include app data according to your system settings. There is no automatic cross-device sync. Deleting the app removes its local journal and photos; keep a complete backup before doing so. Creation history is retained locally when a piece is deleted so free places are not reset.
Support and this website
If you email support, we receive your address and the information you choose to send, use it to answer your request and retain it only as needed for support and legal obligations. You may request deletion of support correspondence by email. Do not send passwords, payment details or private photos. Our static website uses Cloudflare, which may process technical request information for hosting and security. We add no analytics or tracking cookies.
